La tour Eiffel is the most visited structure in the world. With recent 6 million tourists per year it reached more than 230 million visitors in the 120 years it stands.
At present, the increasing numbers of annual visitors creates new problems of movement and capacities for the structure. The vertical transportation system of the structure has trouble to cope with the large demand for carrying the visitors, long waiting times are typical and the general capacity of the national monument is heavily effected.
In this proposed design, using 4 regular speed Helixator machines increases the capacity of the structure to 12,000 visitors per hour excluding the existing elevator system. It allows free movement of visitors between the ground, first and second levels and provides a breathtaking panorama over the city and monument. The average riding time will be about 3 minutes per level and there will be no waiting time as with the elevators.
